Vertical sundial at the Spahijski podrum (Spahija's cellar). The Spahijski podrum is the largest building of the former Pakrac estate. The building was built in several phases. The first phase was built by Baron Imsen no later than 1745. The second phase was carried out by Count Antun Janković, as evidenced by his coat of arms on the portal's keystone. In the third phase, the building was expanded eastward, by extending one arm of the cellar by digging it into the hillside, during the time of Count Izidor Janković, around 1813. There is also a largely rejected theory that suggests that the building dates back to the Middle Ages and that it housed a mint or a monastery of the Church Knights of St. John.
The sundial is visible on a postcard from the 1950s, but it is not on Google StreetView from 2011 and 2021. The building was renovated with a project co-financed by the European Union 2014-2020. The sundial was probably restored sometime in 2023-2024 period.
The Spahijski podrum is the only known farm building in this area, built in the early 18th century, that has managed to be preserved thanks to its solid construction and organization of space that could be adapted to various purposes.
